Syngonanthus ‘Rio Negro Giant’ is a striking and unusual aquarium plant featuring bright green, narrow leaves that form attractive starburst-like rosettes. Its distinctive shape and texture make it an excellent feature plant for planted aquariums and aquascapes.

This variety is a relatively slow grower, making it easier to maintain than many faster-growing stem plants. Its larger, spreading growth habit makes it an excellent midground plant, where groups can develop into impressive green clusters. In larger aquariums, it can also be used as a foreground feature, creating a lush and highly textured display.

For best growth, provide good lighting, nutrient-rich conditions and CO₂ supplementation. Like many Syngonanthus species, it performs particularly well in soft, slightly acidic water.
