Proserpinica palustris

Proserpinica palustris. This striking plant displays dusky orange-red leaves that are short and pointed with distinct saw-tooth edges. The leaves of Proserpinica palustris grow densely packed around the stem in a star shaped pattern.
It is a moderately easy plant to grow provided ideal conditions are met. Proserpinica palustris requires moderate to intense lighting, lean macronutrient levels and most critically, iron fertilisation. CO2 injection is highly recommended to achieve optimal form and colouration. If any of these are deficient, the leaves will become dull.
