Phyllanthus Fluitans, commonly known as Red Root Floater, is a freshwater floating plant popular in the aquascaping hobby for many reasons. Easy to grow with a pretty red to brown leaf, and deep red roots, they provide shade and can inhibit algae growth. They also help to remove biological waste but can quickly cover your entire tank so you will need to remove some from time to time. These highly sought-after floaters are known as the Red Root Floater because of their remarkable & stunningly red roots.
Red Root Floaters have light green leaves that will turn a deep red when kept under high light. As opposed to many other floaters, the roots are dark red and much more attractive-looking.
