Micranthemum Monte Carlo. One of the most popular carpeting plants, Micranthemum Monte Carlo grows low and relatively fast, with very bright green, circular leaves on creeping stems. It is perfect for filling large areas of substrate quickly when given ideal growing conditions and can even form carpets in low tech aquariums.

Micranthemum Monte Carlo is easy to grow, requiring medium to high lighting, nutritious substrate or regular fertilisation, with CO2 injection recommended but not required.
