Ludwigia sedoides -

Ludwigia sedoides. This beautiful floating species, also known as Mosaic Plant displays a floating central rosette with diamond-shaped reddish-green leaves fanning out in a symmetrical pattern around it. In ideal conditions, yellow flowers will form on these rosettes. Propagation is achieved by snipping off a floating rosette with a portion of stem attached, allowing the main plant to grow a new rosette.

Ludwigia sedoides is easy to grow, but requires intense lighting at the surface and heavy fertilisation which is best achieved via nutritious substrate rather than water column.
