Ludwigia Mato Grosso is a striking and relatively new addition to the hobby, known for its fresh yellow-green tones that develop a soft pink to orange gradient under medium to high lighting.

This species is surprisingly easy to care for, especially with CO₂ injection, and is not overly sensitive to pH or water hardness. It performs well across a wide range of setups, thriving in both lean and nutrient-rich fertiliser regimes.

One of its standout features is its versatility—it transitions effortlessly between emersed and submerged growth forms. It can even grow happily as a floating plant without CO₂, making it a flexible option for different tank styles.
