Ludwigia arcuata

Ludwigia arcuata. This plant grows long, narrow leaves that are deep pink to intense red in ideal conditions. Growth of Ludwigia arcuata is fast, and with regular trimming and replanting of shoots a colourful midground hedge can be formed quickly.  It is relatively easy to grow, requiring moderate to intense light, regular fertilisation and CO2 injection for best colouration. It can also be grown easily in low tech aquariums.
