Mayaca fluviatilis

Mayaca fluviatilis. This fast-growing stem plant displays very narrow, densely set spiky leaves that are green in colour with a lighter green central vein. Mayaca fluviatilis makes an excellent mid-ground contrast to red plants as a trimmed hedge or trailing street.

It is generally easy to grow, requiring moderate lighting and regular fertilisation, particularly of Iron. CO2 injection is recommended for the best growth but is not essential.
